Kip Treece

Kip is the owner of and massage therapist at Innerwaves Massage Therapy. A life-long resident of Lafayette, he graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School in 1971 and Purdue University in 1975 from the Krannert School of Business.

He graduated in 1997 from Indiana University/Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI) through their massage certificate program.

Kip has been Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork since 1998. He is a Professional Member of the American Massage Therapy Association since 1997. He volunteered as the Government Relations committee chairman for the Indiana Chapter of the AMTA from 2000 - 2004 and earned the state Meritorious Award in 2004.

He has completed over 900 hours of continuing education since 1997 in a variety of techniques including:

• Pregnancy massage
• Myofascial release
• Active isolated stretching
• Trigger point therapy
• Deep tissue release

Kip currently teaches massage therapy at Ivy Tech Community College as an adjunct staff member.
